Sustainability

Our commitment to environmental preservation, human development
and the local economy is one of our main focuses and missions to fulfill.

For this, in terms of energy, we installed solar panels for water heating,
low consumption lighting with twilight and movement sensors,
automatic irrigation system in the garden as well as a drainage system.

On an environmental level, we planted dozens of trees of native species,
which make our outdoor garden a green space of biodiversity - which also contributes
to the ecological development of the surrounding area. Without forgetting the waste produced,
whose destination is focused on recycling and composting and, whenever possible,
on the reduction of raw materials (such as, for example, paper and excessive use of water).

At Pátio do Tijolo, our customers will not find disposable plastic products.
We use glass and reusable water bottles, the amenities in the rooms are vegan,
made from recycled material and for "non-disposable" use.

Our breakfast has a selection of traditional and seasonal products,
supplied by small local companies, thus reinforcing our commitment to support
the development of producers and local commerce.

We are an active part of the local community, and we work closely with companies
and associations, whether in receiving products or offering services to our guests.
We are also by our employees side by facing challenges together,
promoting excellent working conditions and contributing for a better quality
of life and well-being of everyone involved.
